- As an engineer, always had good managers and freedom to pursue interesting projects. Great work-life balance, no interfering politics. This must vary from team to team - Great focus on research and developing and deploying the best possible technology for this problem space. - Very smart and capable engineers - Friendly people, great office culture when that was a thing - Good fluidity to move teams and learn new skills - Great benefits incl. generous covid-related policies (extra days off, remote work, etc)
Cons
Eng infrastructure can be frustrating to work with as projects get started and not finished, or left without much maintenance beyond emergencies, but perhaps understandable for a growing startup Information on business development / basic financial information like revenue is too elusive. In general, the C-suite who are all new-ish can feel inaccessible
