Pros

During my tenure at ATG January 22 to March 12, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a talented and dedicated team. The environment fostered collaboration and creativity, allowing me to develop my design skills. I was tresponsible with developing the rebranding for ATG. The streamlined workflow process wasallowed me to appreciate clear delineation of my responsibilities. My team was responsive and engaged, especially within the marketing department. It was refreshing to participate in frequent company events and to receive recognition. The hiring process included a phone screening, a virtual interview, and an in-person interview, after which I received feedback. The regular team meetings provided a clear framework for goal setting, and I proactively sought feedback on my contributions, consistently receiving positive reassurance of my proficiency. The company regularly provided food and beverages during work hours and at company events.

Cons

While I found the work rewarding, I observed that the company culture could benefit from more transparent communication channels to ensure alignment and clarity regarding company decisions and changes. The absence of severance pay, the lack of sick time compensation, and the requirement for COVID-19 vaccination records seemed counterintuitive. The parental leave policy was inadequate, offering less than three months of leave. Despite the company's claims to adhere to its pillars of Growth, Resilience, Intentionality, and Togetherness (GRIT), it often failed to live up to these ideals. My manager lacked the necessary leadership qualities and loyalty. After two weeks, when the company mandated a return to the office. Despite my assurances of commitment, I felt misled about my performance. My attempts to discuss logo redesigns with the CEO were thwarted by my manager, leading to frustration and doubts about the company's sincerity in valuing innovation. Additionally, the presence of alcohol in the workplace sends a problematic message regarding professional conduct. There were periods of inactivity, and despite assurances of future project involvement, I felt anxious about my efficiency. My enthusiasm for ATG extended beyond work hours, including sharing positive experiences on personal social media. I received no verbal or written warnings, nor was I involved in any intervention meetings. My termination, attributed to not being an "aesthetic fit," was abrupt and without detailed explanation, leaving me with unanswered questions about its relevance to my role or performance. This lack of transparency indicated a company with a history of rebrands and no dedicated Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team.

Pros

This is a great job. You get what you put in, and there are multiple layers of people committed to seeing you successful. There have been many changes in the right direction which means management listens to their people. This is definitely a difficult job, but I am thankful that I get to go to work every day and work with people that love working here. Your manager is your coach, and if you work closely with your manager you will be very successful here - but you still have got to put in the work to get the result. This is not just a job, this is a career, and again, the people that treat this like a career see a lot more success than the others that do not. We just won Arkansas Best Places to Work and if you didn't know, you can't fudge that system. Our folks that work here fill out that survey.

Cons

None at this moment, thank you for listening.

Pros

Great work environment. This company has gone through crazy change over the last 18 months. New leadership across the board which is leading to great results. The solutions you get to sell are best in class and something that really helps the industry. The company was just awarded best places to work in Arkansas by the local business magazine. That award is given out based upon the reviews done by current employees. That speaks volumes to the culture.

Cons

There are some processes that need to be better. The communication between departments is a struggle sometimes.
