Can't say there is really any pro beteeen the deals the local union do to benifit themselves over tje worker they are to repsent.
Cons
The company will lie about every thing. Look at what the company puts in the paper during contract time, then read the share holder report. They are vastly differnt. The union are not what they use to be, local cut deals for themselves at the cost of the rank and file. The international union could careless about workers they only want your union dues. Between the company and union ATI is no longer a good place to work at. The good old boy network runs rampent. It is only a matter of time until vandergrift and Brackenridge are closed from corporate greed and miss management.
