Pros
You get to work from home, but they like to micromanage every moment of your time including programs installed on your computer that monitor everything you do and record all your calls and how much time you spend away from the computer
Cons
Working as a Loan Specialist at AutoPay was one of the most stressful and demoralizing experiences of my career. The company claims to value its employees, but in reality, it’s a toxic environment with no support or appreciation for the hard work we do. First, the workload is completely unreasonable. Management expects you to handle an overwhelming number of loans with no regard for accuracy or quality. It’s all about hitting unrealistic targets, even if it means cutting corners or rushing through important details. Second, the training is practically nonexistent. I was thrown into the role with minimal guidance and expected to figure everything out on my own. When I asked for help, I was either ignored or met with frustration from my supervisors. Finally, the culture is toxic. There’s no teamwork or collaboration—just constant pressure and micromanagement. The turnover rate is sky-high, and it’s no surprise why. The company doesn’t care about its employees, and it shows in how they treat us. If you’re considering a job at AutoPay, I’d strongly advise against it. The pay isn’t worth the stress, and the lack of support will leave you feeling burned out and undervalued.
