Cons
-- Some may not care for the open work environment at AWeber. The only offices are for HR and recruiting. Everyone else, including the CEO and COO, work at "pods" in an open floor plan. -- Related to the first Pro above... if you're not looking for people to really push you, if you want a job that lets you be and just do what's in a typical responsibilities list for your role, AWeber may not be the place for you. This is true even for the most junior customer service team member. -- There's a lot to learn in order to become productive. Lots of tools, technologies, and processes. It's not impossible, of course, but it can be intimidating. -- As noted, there is a large focus on teamwork and collaboration, which is good. However, the flipside of this is that working remotely is strongly discouraged. All team members come to the office by default, with work-from-home days rarely permitted. Job candidates who want to work remotely more than a couple days per quarter will probably not find AWeber a good fit.
