For me it was the commute to Jersey City from Long Island, before the move there we were located in headquarters in Midtown NYC. The other downside to being located in Jersey City is that most of AXA Distributors (marketing, senior management, and strategic accounts) are located in head quarters. As a result there was a disconnect in important communications.
