Pros

If you do not have a family or are just trying to get away from one, this company will provide you with an outlet. You will learn the value of family and personal time as you will have very little. Fairly easy job.

Cons

In a word 'burnout' Mgrs are expected to put in on avg 60 hrs a week and mgr trainees who work a 50 hr work week are expected to work off the clock to show their drive and ambition to advance. They staff their offices with the bare minimum number of employees and as such you are expected to come in even when very sick. I lost half my vacation time every year because we could simply not take it. Hard to find anyone with more than 5 years with the company because of the work environment. As a mgr - expect to live at the store

Pros

All the people I worked with in the store were fantastic people. Everyone helps everyone else and doesn't leave anyone out to dry.

Cons

Management above store level were a nightmare. Easily the worst I've ever experienced. They would change goals often, sometimes within days of having made a change. They would make assumptions about what was wrong without ever actually being in store. They wouldn't speak to ANYONE below the level of a manager to the point of ignoring someone if they greeted them.
