Pros
Interview is easy and it's a job. You can make some money while waiting on real career positions. In the town I live in there is a overload of people so even with my degree it's hard to find a decent job so Aaron's was a lay minute desperate decision.
Cons
In my store management is horrible. There's no confidentiality I've heard GM's discussion very confidential information about employees and customers that was very unprofessional. The GM is exhausted and is barely there to be of any assistance so instead of work the GM is on their cellular device all day. The store is chaotic because everyone is under stress because they are being told everyday that they are doing something wrong by a different manager. People are constantly quitting so they need current staff to work longer hrs and their days off. I was told by my GM after 9pm at night that I will not be going home until everything in the store was done and she kept employees there all night. I called the regional to discuss what was going on and how I've already worked12 hrs and she let me go home ... Corporate doesn't know what's going on in their stores but it's a lot of things going on against the Labor laws... I was told I had to Field Visit to 9pm at night so I went out and a gun was pulled out on me by a random person in a neighborhood I was entering !! I am completely traumatized by it. I need the money and still haven't found another job so I'm stuck being forced to work in this environment
