Pros
Lots of great people to work with. Work life balance is not bad.
Cons
Middle management is very heavy. It can be org dependent, but generally speaking managers optimize for optics, not substance. Leadership incompetence is rampant and morale can be low. Highly political given the middle management heavy structure. Lack of growth opportunities and managers are not serious at developing employees. No accountability in managers because stability of middle management structure is prioritized at the middle management level.
