      The compensation is decent, though not world class for the industry.

      Cons

      Too much M&A activity has left Abbvie fractured with little business continuity and a lack of homogeneity between business units. Most things are at the pace of never.

      When I was hired by AbbVie I sold my home and relocated to comply with their mandatory office days. A week after I sold my home they did a reorganization of my department. My hiring manager was forced to retire, my mentor was moved to another team and the work stopped coming in. I was laid off shortly after. I’m now experiencing housing instability. Thanks AbbVie!
