Lack of diversity and some focus on $$ - Field Sales Abbott Employee Review

I’ve been with the company a short time and I knew it would be challenging but never like this. This company is 100% focused on $$ (it’s even in their Quality Policy!?!?) and is very tone deaf. Ive been through extensive training and not one was about the hood this company does to meet unmet healthcare needs. Four white men from Chicago flew to the west cost to meet with an Asian female executive …and all wore formal suits where the hospital cultural is MUCH more laid back. Didn’t win the deal and then surprised with feedback that their approach could have been different. I’m not sure this is the best place for me. I wish they’d actually embrace diversity in the field. It’s not a thing here and they are missing out on a lot of upside as a result.
