Pros

Honestly, nothing good enough to mention. If I said anything, they’d respond with “we’re so glad you loved _, we’re really proud of ourselves for this”.

Cons

I guess the easiest place to start would be the horrendous hours you’ll ultimately be subjected to. It’s almost funny because they don’t mention this when interviewing. “Maybe a late night here and there, but never past 7-8pm”. There were MULTIPLE times I had to stay on until 10:00pm or later, 3:00AM earns an honorable mention. Not sure what kind of quality of work comes out of 14+ hour days, but they’re not worried about quality, just “meeting deadlines”. And sure, this varies with brands, but you’ll end up screwed at some point. Especially with certain Project/Account Managers (because there are plenty of AMs/PMs who know nothing outside their immediate role, are disgustingly rude, incapable of communicating timelines and updates, but are the first ones to rush and blame you when things aren’t done when they want). And god forbid they let you know you have to stay late prior to 4:45PM. They may not even reach out until after 5:00PM and then it’s your fault for not being available, despite not knowing you’d need to be available. In addition to these inconsiderate, uncommunicative managers, there are writers who seem to pull numbers and claims out of thin air hoping someone else will do the work for them. Unfortunately, their lack of care for quality goes far beyond the work being done. And when you experience layoffs (because you will, whether you’re apart of it or not), there’s no explanation or reason for who they’re picking. They’ll shaft great employees, just to keep some of the ones mentioned above. They clearly don’t talk to anyone’s direct managers, look at peer reviews, or take a second to consider if there’s any way to recycle someone into a new role. I’m convinced they’re just using a random name generator, or maybe blindly throwing darts at a list of names. Either way, you, your coworkers, managers, etc. will be completely blindsided. Oh, and the pay sucks.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We value your input, as it helps us reflect on areas where we can improve and better support our teams. We want to emphasize that we do everything possible to prevent layoffs. In fact, when faced with staffing challenges, we make a concerted effort to retain employees by offering new roles and responsibilities whenever possible. We understand that transitions can be difficult, and we are committed to finding solutions that allow our team members to stay with us, even when our staffing needs change. Regarding your concerns about business costs and company-wide events, we want to clarify that these activities and expenses are not the cause of layoffs. Occasional cutbacks are due to the natural ebb and flow of business that every agency experiences, and which we have successfully navigated for over 42 years to remain a leader in our industry. We believe that our investments in team-building events, meetings, and office resources are critical to maintaining a collaborative culture and ensuring our long-term success. As for the hours, we acknowledge that agency work can sometimes demand long days, especially during intense periods when project timelines are tight. However, these periods are not the norm but occasional, and our standard workload aligns with typical agency expectations. We always strive to maintain a balanced and sustainable work environment for our team members. We recognize that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we are committed to learning from it. Thank you again for your candid feedback, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

A legitimate company but toxic and bullying

Cons

My experience at this company was deeply disappointing due to a toxic workplace culture. I faced bullying from colleagues, and instead of fostering teamwork and collaboration, the environment was driven by unhealthy competition. HR was consistently irresponsible and failed to address serious concerns. The hiring process seemed focused solely on academic background and work experience, with little regard for character or professionalism. Unfortunately, this created a management team and workforce that often reinforced the same negative behaviors. Overall, the culture felt superficial and hostile rather than supportive or inclusive.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We take feedback about workplace culture seriously, which is why this review is concerning and does not reflect the environment we strive to create every day. At our agency, we are deeply committed to fostering a collaborative, respectful, and supportive culture. We also want to clarify that we do not have an HR department; our People Experience (PX) team is specifically dedicated to employee support, engagement, and wellbeing. Any reports of bullying, harassment, or inappropriate conduct would be addressed immediately and thoroughly, and to date we have not received concerns matching the circumstances described here. While we cannot verify the experience outlined in this review, we continuously evaluate how we can improve the employee experience and maintain a respectful workplace for everyone. We encourage any current employee with concerns to speak directly with our PX team or leadership so issues can be addressed constructively and confidentially.
