Pros
Having worked for other banks, both big and small, Academy Bank really has provided the greatest opportunity for career growth, by far. I must say that the environment and culture has been a huge plus as well. As a family-owned community bank, I've been very impressed with the level of connectivity between employees in all departments, branches and regions. I have also enjoyed the opportunity to engage with more customers, on a personal basis, which didn't happen as much at my previous bank. I think the pace at which Academy's customer base has grown really speaks to that. All in all, Academy Bank gets an A++ from an employee standpoint, and I would definitely recommend it as one of the top up and coming banks to consider either starting a career or seeking continued growth in the banking industry. Top notch!!
