Pros

I felt like a family member with some co-workers.

Cons

Corporate does not stand behind their employees and expects you to take physical abuse. Corporate moves employees around to different facilities leaving some facilities short handed. Pay is horrible with little or no raises in salary possible. Corporate treats employees like they are inferior. Corporate is very slow to do anything to change problem areas and often ignored problems that were brought to their attention. Often made mistakes on payroll and were slow to fix.

Pros

Ability to work from home, bonus money is decent, and overtime is pretty abundant.

Cons

Cons: Management showed very little compassion or flexibility during serious medical situations. I was dealing with severe spinal cord compression and kept my supervisor informed every step of the way. My doctor’s appointment had to be rescheduled due to a tornado threat, and the physician was unexpectedly out until the following Monday, which delayed my documentation. Despite being upfront and communicative, I was terminated before I could even obtain the note. Losing my job and health insurance in the middle of a serious medical crisis was devastating. The role itself can also feel emotionally draining because intake staff are often left handling upset patients and families without enough support from the facilities. I had to reschedule my surgery so I couldn’t get married and put on my Husband’s insurance, kind of sucks a healthcare company would do an employee that way!
