Pros
If you live in the Tri Valley area at least you are close to the office
Cons
The communication is very poor. I joined because I wanted to make government run better, but the direction of leadership, communication from leadership and forward thinking is just not there to transform our state and local governments. The company is completely siloed and its so small there is absolutely no reason for that. There is no operational leadership. If you have an idea, no one wants to hear it, If you want to suggest a better way, it only counts of its from one of two people at the company. I think pay is on the lower end and likely having a hard time competing for talent. The benefits are mediocre by bay area standards. I got to think the recent investors realize there needs to be change at the top otherwise I have no idea how t hey are going to get there money out of the company.
