Accela had a great way of creating a negative work culture. People constantly walked around in fear of being laid off. They lay off workers left and right, it's almost comical. The executive team took a trip to Italy, and while they were out they had their flunkies lay off a group of people. Way to create a nice work culture guys. Let's all go to Italy and spoil ourselves and then can about 30 people while we are away...no harm no foul, right? The software seemed to be literally held together with bandaids. At the time, it only worked on a PC and in IE. Come on guys, what is this...1999? I'm surprised it didn't just work with Netscape. If you're reading this and thinking about joining, do some research on LinkedIn and reach out to former employees and ask what they really thought about working at this place.
