Pros
What I love most about this job is the people I work with. My manager and colleagues are exceptionally talented, intelligent, helpful and nice. Management promotes work/life balance and will always take the time to listen to concerns or suggestions. As a developer, I appreciate that there is a focus on quality over quantity. The company has a great technical support system for their customers (with awesome support engineers), which makes my job as a developer much easier since I can focus on writing code. The onboarding process and understanding the laboratory terms and features can be challenging if you don't have a background in the field but there are plenty of people that are eager to help you learn if you just ask!
Cons
High health insurance cost and no 401k (there is a profit sharing plan).
