Pros

Accelion is a great company to work for if you're looking to start your career in Sales. Their primary client sells itself so you won't have to worry about selling a service that is unknown. Accelion makes working from home so easy, they give you a phone, tablet, and a laptop. Overall, the company is very supportive and encouraging towards each other. I was sad to leave thinking I could find another supportive company as they are and it hasn't been that easy. I miss my manager and team the most, there was never a bad day with them. There was always "a better tomorrow" mindset and that is crucial to have in these covid days we live in.

Cons

The pay for women is lower than the pay for men in the SAME POSITION. Please make it fair and make the pay the same for everyone.

Thank you for your review. Accelion really takes pride in creating an environment where our team members are supported and can flourish, and we’re delighted that this has been your experience with us. For that reason, we carefully curate our client base and only work with top brands in their respective industries that align with our values. Gender-based pay differentials are never tolerated at Accelion, and we have a long and proud history of pay equality and career progression for our female team members. We are fully committed to the letter and the spirit of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and The Equal Pay Act of 1963. Our compensation committee, which includes senior-level female members with an average company tenure of 8+ years, takes extra steps to make sure that all employees are paid equitably for the knowledge, skills, and experience they bring to Accelion regardless of gender. Please reach back out to us at hr@accelion.com if this has not been your experience.

Pros

Working at Accelion gave me something I didn’t fully appreciate until I left: support, structure, and people who actually wanted to see me succeed. I felt respected from day one. My Area Manager always kept it real with me — pushed me when I needed it, but also gave me space to grow. I liked having control over my schedule, and when I was putting in the work, I was making good money. The Atlanta client team had real energy, and we looked out for each other.

Cons

It’s not a hand-holding type of job. You need to be disciplined and ready to hustle — especially in a market like Atlanta where competition is real. Some days were frustrating, no doubt. But it wasn’t the kind of frustration that came from lack of support — more like the usual ups and downs of the field.

Thanks for your review! I know exactly who you are! We (me and Christian) wished things would have worked out better for you in Atlanta! As we discussed during your final call, their were uncontrollable issues that you/Accelion couldn't solve; your amazing attitude carried the market so far and that is something we will always remember. Be well my friend! If you need an LOR for your future job search, shoot me or Chelcey an email and I'll work with Christian to write one up for you. :)

Pros

It's almost impossible to think of anything but if I had to say something nice it would be that you are paid weekly.

Cons

Oh boy, where do I begin? First of all, do some research outside of Glassdoor about this company. This company does not care about its employees. You are simply a money generator for them. You will be written up immediately if your sales numbers do not satisfy them. Management will embarrass you in front of your peers on the weekly team meetings if your numbers dip. The CEO of the company will have you jump on a call with him within the first week of employment to make it seem like he will be involved in the day-to-day of the job. That will be the first and last time you talk to him. During my call with him, he literally bragged about how rich he was for an hour straight. I wish I was joking. He will also try and sell you some idea that there are Territory Mangers getting five-figure paychecks. If you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. The training was abysmal. Managers will gossip about other employees behind their back. Just sort these reviews by "lowest rated" and see some of the unprofessional responses from the company.

While we disagree with this narrative, we want to clarify our culture. At Accelion, our involuntary separations stem from a lack of willingness and effort, not a lack of skill. We give employees immense grace and extended time to hit targets, provided they bring a positive attitude and a willingness to follow direction. When you talk about doing research on Accelion outside of Glassdoor; I assume you are referring to Reddit. Notice that the majority of the negative comments about Accelion are made by one profile of which the poster speaks negatively about 11 positions they've held and only has positive things to say about 1 prior job. Regarding our introductory call, sharing my personal journey from a lower-class background without a college degree to building successful businesses was meant to relate to the career struggles you mentioned, not to boast. Finally, we took your internal complaints seriously and invested significant time coaching your manager to address valid criticisms, though the frustration was mutual due to performance and attitude challenges. We wish you the best moving forward.
