Pros

1. A slightly laid back culture for consulting - good for someone who does not want to work in a fast paced consulting world 2. Good pay at the time of joining

Cons

1. The quality of projects is not so good. Most of the projects at the Analyst level are delivery-driven projects and not consulting per se. The projects under this role require you to act as PMO/ Scrum Master/ BA etc. 2. The growth in terms of pay is quite less as compared to other consulting companies, with them also not giving any salary hikes in some years. 3. Bonus payout is also quite low as compared to the total Bonus on offer letter(essentially 50% of the Bonus amount for good performance review) 4. Promotion cycle is too slow as compared to other consulting companies. Others have promotion cycle of 1-2 years from Analyst to Consultant(or with similar titles). Here it is generally 3 years. But for some it may take 3.5 - 4 years. Also know few people who have been Analyst for 4+ years without promotion.

Pros

There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

Cons

This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
