Employees from diverse backgrounds may feel uncomfortable due to inconsistent treatment from this team lead. Individuals outside the preferred circle may also experience unnecessary scrutiny and stress. Talented employees are sometimes viewed as threats rather than assets. The new manager currently lacks the oversight needed to address these leadership issues effectively as she does not want to step on the team lead toes
