Pros
At least it's a MNC in Taiwan
Cons
During my tenure, I experienced clear workplace bullying from my direct supervisor and their core team members. They systematically undermined my role by stripping away decision authority, blocking access to essential information, isolating me in meetings, and even coordinating with external agencies to deliberately withhold cooperation—all to create the impression that my performance was inadequate. Over time, these behaviors severely affected both my ability to work and my mental well-being. The irony is that I once led the company’s international award submission and helped secure a major win, yet I was still marginalized internally. When team culture is driven by personal preferences and internal politics rather than professionalism and results, any sense of accomplishment is gradually eroded. What made the situation worse was the lack of an effective organizational mechanism to address such issues, allowing the problem to persist. Acer still has many talented colleagues and a solid platform, but the employee experience heavily depends on the supervisor and team culture. For those considering joining, I strongly suggest: 1. Understand the management style of your potential supervisor. 2. Ensure the team values expertise and communicates transparently. 3. Verify that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined to avoid being dragged into internal politics. The platform itself is not the issue; it is the people who ultimately determine workplace well-being. I truly hope the company places greater emphasis on a healthy working environment so that those who want to contribute can be genuinely supported.
