Cons
A day after starting they changed the commission structure. They also went through a long period of keeping us in the dark as to why the leads were so bad. So for 5 months it was the grind of my life to try to get a good check. They finally reevaluated things and started to give us incentives because the hourly is $14 and the commission was horrible. Then for another 4 months we kept getting told that the leads would get better and that was a lie. Then when the leads finally did get better, they change the commission structure again. Then they changed how you meet metrics and implemented a tier system. Then it got worse. Again. Then when I decided to look for a different company to work at my UM told me that if anyone on his team gets put in tier 4 he would tell them to find another job because you won’t make money there. So when I came to him about a new potential offer, he encouraged me to take the job. I have text message proof. Then when I asked if he was just trying to push me out he said “this job isn’t for everyone” then later said he didn’t want me to leave. My UM often made me feel like it was a hostile environment. I often made excuses for his behavior and he would occasionally apologize to me. I left due to my mental health issues and he said I would be rehirable and he would vouch for me so long as I didn’t bash the company. I left with zero write ups and a shot mental health status due to a UM that constantly made me feel like I was being manipulated and gaslighted. This company used to have so much potential but they made a lot of poor investments and got greedy.
