The company is small and needs more resources, but they're working on it!

I started with Acronis SCS a year ago and cannot be happier about my decision to join. This is a small highly productive company that is quickly growing. Under the leadership of John Zani, the employees get to experience the following pros: 1. Flexible schedules for people with families (management goes out of the way to work with you as long as you are committed to company success and productivity) 2. Professional growth opportunities (every quarter you can take on new professional development opportunities, and the company often rewards this financially) 3. Generous vacation time 4. From the company CEO to VPs to specialists and support - everyone is easily accessible when it comes to communications and deliverables. If you need a question answered, you can reach out to anyone. 5. Remote work environment is promoted. 6. Employee activities and games. You can get to know everyone personally including folks that work across the country during monthly employee initiatives such as company sponsored lunches, team trivia games and special speaker lectures.

There are not a lot of cons I can think of, but here are some of the nuances people should know before joining: 1. Most people work remotely across the US, so it's critical to take time to get to know key people across the teams personally that one may work with. I think management could facilitate that a bit more. 2. If you are joining our team, make sure you actively participate in project planning ahead of major initiatives so that your manager can understand the level of effort needed from you and your teammates. 3. The company operates on AZ time, but the employees are located across the time zones, so you have to clearly communicate your hours when working cross-functionally.
