Benefits are terrible.
You’ll be expected to work (at a minimum) 55 hours/week, and if you even think about leaving before 5:30pm, everyone stares at you. Work/life balance is non-existent.
They do a good job of making you think they’re the only company that you can make money at. I know plenty of people that left for other jobs that pay way more, and questioned why they stayed for so long (hint: it’s because of the first sentence in this paragraph).
During my time, they changed our salary 3 times in less than 3 years. They dropped our base pay 10k, then backtracked when everyone started leaving. It resulted in less pay for working ridiculous hours.
People are fired all the time. When things are going well, you’re treated well, when things aren’t going well, you’ll constantly be worried about being fired because you’ll see people getting fired all around you. In my first month, I saw 4 peers get fired.
If you take PTO, be sure you’re doing well. If you’re not, you’ll be asked “are you sure you should be taking PTO?” Also, expect to be working and not enjoying the time off. I took trips and found myself taking calls throughout the day - getting bad news that really helps you to relax on vacation.
