Pros

None besides the training. There is a reason why Aerotek goes after naïve college grads fresh out of school, or people who haven't held an actual professional role before (retail, call centers, ect). Turnover is HIGH for a reason.

Cons

Let's math - Example base pay: 50k (however most areas seem to start at 45k) We work from 7:30am to 5:30pm (sometimes later) with no overtime pay at all because we're salaried. This is so that we can meet the incredibly high metrics or face losing our job. (There is also incredible pressure to stay working past 6pm or face backlash) In 2021, there were about 261 work days, and multiply that by a 10 hour work day means we work about 2,610 hours per year. 50k deducted by taxes means we make less than 40k, but lets just say 40k for kicks. 40k/2610 is $15 an hour. If 45k is your base, you're working for around $13 an hour. Obviously this isn't an exact value, but we all get the picture.

Pros

Flexible schedule Text based communication Remote Quick hiring process

Cons

Higher than minimum wage but still sort of low pay. Must ask for PTO available instead of being able to view it freely.

Pros

Hours and the work location

Cons

No communication. Lack of follow. Onboarding was left to contract and THAT was a mess.
