Pros
-Culture at the Schaumburg location is unlike any other in the best way possible -Staff members who have dedicated multiple years to this company and truly care for the needs of the children -Leadership shows a level of care and dedication to the staff and children (some much more outwardly and clearly than others)
Cons
-Physical and emotional needs of the children are not prioritized from a corporate standpoint (ex: requiring multiple instances of patients being physically uncomfortable and expelling physical proof of illness before being able to send patients home) -Requiring that certain physical comforts be ceased once a child reaches age 5 to due "belief of them being inappropriate displays of affection" as training explained -Minimal ability to take a break without directly affecting others due to a lack of staffing and inability to find relief (ex: unable to take a break for more than 7 minutes without requiring another technician to begin a direct session and record data while taking a break themselves) -Expectations from corporate for RBTs to function in an almost "robot like" capacity without acknowledgement through monetary compensation of the difficulty of the job (ex: $17/hr at 37.5hrs/week)
