Pros
I've been working with this company for less than a year but I'm super impressed with not only what they do for kids with ASD, but how they treat their employees. ABC has work hard/play hard mentality and a "young professionals" culture. Work feels more like a family than a place to get my work done and go home. I really enjoy the fact that upper management is a call or email away if I have any questions or problems. The company is growing quickly, but it still feels small rather than "corporate." The owners are fun, friendly, and super involved which rarely happens at other companies. I also really enjoy the health benefits and the salary (way higher than what I was previously making in the same level position.) We also get multiple PTO and vacation days (a whole week for Christmas!!!) The company is constantly opening new centers to help kids on the spectrum, and with that comes so many opportunities to move up to different positions. I'm lucky that I found ABC because I was able to move up within a short amount of time and really figure out where my passion lies. (If you work your butt off and respect others they'll treat you well). Last thing is the flexibility: my boss understands that life happens (ie doctor appointment, moving, sick pet, etc). They do a great job of valuing work and personal lives and letting us balance both.
Cons
If I'm being picky, I would suggest having a better maternity/paternity leave policy. I'd also like to see more company-wide events/parties.
