If you are looking for a job, they can put you working.

Most that have worked for a temporary company won't like this company. Most of their employment is going to be temp forever vs temp to hire like most. They staff businesses in the Roanoke valley that rarely ever hire one. Some have worked for the company for 10 years and have never been offered a position with the company they work with. Never expect to get a raise. The PTO time is severely broken. When the company you do work for is closed for holidays Action doesn't pay you for most of them. It is not like other temp employee services where they find you work somewhere else on those days you just don't get paid. Same for the facility shutting down for weather. They don't cover it. You end up with a broken paycheck. Other temp agencies like Manpower treated you like their employee and you could actually move up with raises and paid time off for longevity with the company. They don't do much for their employees. They also don't seem to fight for your rights with the company you are doing work for. For example if you're hired for say data entry and while working on site they tell you to go scrub toilets. Basically you are just supposed to do whatever task they tell you. When brought up to Action they will tell you just do what is asked vs the job you agreed to work.
