Pros
Work hard, play hard. That's been my motto for as long as I can remember (from working weekends as a High School Sophomore to pay for my new guitar to working 25-30 hours while in college to pay for my tuition. ) If you work hard, you get a lot in return. At Activ8, I have had the opportunity to visit clients throughout the Midwest but also overseas in Japan. It's paid me back over and over and I cannot see myself working anywhere else at this point. It's rewarding because you are able to help clients find the right employees. Clients are happy, candidates are happy - it's a win-win!
Cons
Like all recruiting positions, there are ups and there are downs. Candidates who accepted a position yesterday may decline today. The secret is that you cannot allow the downs to bring you down. When you leave work, you must leave everything at work and tackle it the following day. Don't take it home.
