Pros
Passionate and driven people throughout all levels of the company that truly do make work feel like an authentic collaboration. Benefits are great (they're the best I've had in my career - this is always subjective to your experience) and when I took 10 weeks of Parental Leave in 2022 I truly felt like I was able to put work on hold and my team had by back. The games. If you love video games then getting to participate in Alphas, direct communication with Developers, etc. is awesome. DE&I: Truly a diverse workgroup from all backgrounds and industries. I think it is a huge strength of how we've expanded roles to candidates from other industries who bring valuable experience. Great work life balance and managers truly want you not to work outside of your core hours and encourage time off.
Cons
Not too many cons which is fantastic. There is a lack of consistent and streamlined communication which blends into project management at times. A lot of things are still ad hoc for a large company (which is surprising to many newcomers, myself included. Upward mobility and how you can be promoted seems like an unknown process for a lot of individuals (in Corporate anyhow). You can meet all the "requirements" for a level/grade and yet sometimes seems like an arbitrary waiting game.
