Initial impression of high salary but found out it came with no work life balance

Cons

Must work 80 hours a week to stay current. Every day is a fire drill. Layoffs annually to stay "lean" kills morale. Always short staff and pushing hourly into overtime and stretching staff to do with less with huge growth. HR team is heartless Worst employer I have worked for in 35 years. Run away from an offer from Acuity

Fully remote, collaboration is excellent with Sales and Engineering teams. Nice people.

Cons

Onboarding was awful. Tend to turnover people frequently, always around April and October, which coincides with their fiscal year. HR people are never the same for very long. Medical benefits are ok. Questionable ethics in the Legal & Compliance Dept of all places. It's evidenced with all the legal counsel they have hired, there are more of them than there are customer service people it seems. It pays the bills, but it's not a job one should count on for long term. It seems the strategy is hire with high pay, but let go within a year. Seen it happen to many people.
