Pros

4-10 work week. Closer to Atlanta than Cooper. Decent cafeteria.

Cons

Let's people go too easily without considering human cost. I relocated across the country with my family to work for Acuity, and then was let go 6 months later with no explanation. And mine was not an unusual case. I've heard stuff like this is pretty common. Worst financial decision I ever made was working for Acuity Brands Lighting.

Pros

Fully remote, collaboration is excellent with Sales and Engineering teams. Nice people.

Cons

Onboarding was awful. Tend to turnover people frequently, always around April and October, which coincides with their fiscal year. HR people are never the same for very long. Medical benefits are ok. Questionable ethics in the Legal & Compliance Dept of all places. It's evidenced with all the legal counsel they have hired, there are more of them than there are customer service people it seems. It pays the bills, but it's not a job one should count on for long term. It seems the strategy is hire with high pay, but let go within a year. Seen it happen to many people.
