- really poor compensation
- hired everyone with a pulse for 6+ months, then abruptly laid off all junior employees with minimal severance
- uses legacy technology like SAS, which is a non-transferable skill
- the kind of work they do can easily be automated by AI, only security regulations have prevented this
- lack of transparency between upper management & junior employees
- lack of pay transparency, international employees are underpaid
- forced return to office, with huge pay cut for remote work
- company prefers to spend money on opening new offices in remote locations with no employees and buying parks instead of fairly compensating employees & avoiding layoffs
- dependent on govt funding which has been highly variable
- poor PTO policy. very two-faced: collected data about employee concerns and desire to have more holidays, then reduced number of paid holidays to 6/year
