New leadership is a circus show. Picture two grown men in a conference room throwing hand pistols and winking at each other while the rest of the room awkwardly sits in silence. Ego statements from leadership that say things like “it’s too in the weeds for someone of my level.” Mass exodus on every level. Short lived HR leadership, since they can’t ethically be a part of it. Consultant and consultants of consultants that have caused more harm in the companies bottom line. Leadership has a lot of friends that they bring in, that have virtually no background in the function they newly own. New leadership has caused a toxic environment while promoting incompetence in leading and providing direction. Morale committees created and the best they can do is create a “wear your favorite hat day.” Not a joke.
