Basic clinical work and lots of cold calling - Clinical Research Coordinator Adams Clinical Employee Review

Pros

You will be able to learn basic clinical skills and interact 1 on 1 with clinicians. The job is good if you are either A-looking for a place to work during a 1-3 gap year period after finishing undergrad if you are planning to apply to medical school or something similar, or B-if you have no experience working in the pharma clinical research field, this is a job that will allow you to move up the chain to become a CRA at a different company with a couple years experience here.

Cons

You need to be okay with responsibilities being given to you with little or no training, and willing to get yelled at/take the blame/find the solution when you inevitably mess something up in the process of figuring it out. As time passes you will definitely be given more and more work/responsibilities regardless of how busy you are. Occasionally a generous raise is given to an employee that is favored by management, but this is independent of work quality/output.

Pros

Company possesses great potential. There is a large patient population and opportunity to learn the ins and outs of research.

Cons

The overall schema of the day-to-day is quite disorganized. The workday will feel rushed and overwhelming.
