      Great scientific community with a lot of intelligent, passionate individuals about helping push scientific innovation forward. Flexible working hours

      Your success at Adaptive is really driven by how invested your manager is. Common to many start-ups that later go public, there will always be people who are promoted to managers just because they have been there for a long time, not necessarily because they are skilled at managing people.

      In transitional years - very much a company that is a maturing start up and running into those predictable barriers that come with that growth.

      Good pay, generous benefits, additional employee welfare options

      Cons

      The whole department was removed due to company going under. This was within 4 months of employment. I was able to get another job soon but wished they never hired if they were going to cut the workforce by 40%. After that, the company had multiple rounds of layoffs. Very unstable company.
