Pros
Management pushed down to the trenches. You have tons of control over your own work and destiny in Engineering. Wonderful, engaging coworkers with diverse interests and viewpoints. Intense in all the right ways. How high can you fly? Others actively help you succeed like you're on the same team (surprise! you are!) Very parent-friendly. Really appreciate this as a parent. Also really good about not falling into the agism trap. I feel very respected for my experience but not so much that I don't have to work for it :)
Cons
Engineering-centric - but definitely getting more inclusive and respectful to other viewpoints MV office is far for city dwellers (but Caltrain makes it better) Harder to coordinate now with 3 major offices. This is improving, however.
