Pros

I have to admit, it’s a bit troubling to read some of the negative reviews on Glassdoor about Adicio. However I’d like to speak to some of the comments I read and to my experience with the company. The fact that someone called out the CEO by name and then wished that the company would close clearly doesn’t take into account that not everyone has a negative connotation of the company and that many people want to work for Adicio. Why would anyone want to wish that so many people would lose their job and their livelihood? Is this really the forum to suggest that there is a lawsuit? To be honest I have heard negative things coming from the “C-Suite” that were certainly disconcerting and unprofessional but I think it’s an unfair assessment to say “all the good employees are leaving”. Adicio isn’t perfect by far but how many companies really are? There are so many people that work here, including myself, that really enjoy our jobs and the company. Many of which have been here 5-10+ years. There is an incredible amount of understanding, flexibility (work hours for work/life balance, occasional work from home days) and the pay is good. The company has a very casual atmosphere and the worker bees such as myself are all collaborative and there is a sense of community. I know that there are ex employees that didn’t have good experiences with the company, but I do believe that things have changed since a lot of toxic people have left. Fun events, free breakfast on Fridays, conversion desks (stand or sit), enthusiastic and intelligent employees, great benefits, employer subsidized masseuse, pool table, foosball table, ping-pong.

Cons

Some things could most certainly improve. Upper management professes to have open politics and be transparent yet a lot of information isn’t forthcoming or given to the company as a whole and rumors start which causes poor morale. Employees are worried about the welfare of the company but no one is hoping for the company to go out of business just to spite a personal vendetta. Everyone is working hard with new directives such as moving back to a SaaS company rather than customizations to continue to grow the company.

Pros

In the jobs I have had so far in my life, this one I can say is one that I not only love coming to each day, but I also have learned more from than any other, by far. Loads of very Smart people here in business, and in technology development. Upper management is seasoned, experienced in the extreme, know this business, the Internet to the extreme and are real technology veterans in the SaaS space and in the creation of job site, and the recruitment and advertising business overall. The staff are as nice as they are smart. Company is moving to new offices down right off the beach in Carlsbad. Everyone I talk to is thrilled about the move. The client growth outside of Newspapers is great. The Professional Associations, Industry and Trade Journal Niche type clients also seem to be much more focused on real business, growing their businesses, and traffic than newspapers. I'm glad to see so many coming in over the past year or 2.

Cons

My Cons are not for the company, but for the unethical ex-staff and ex-managers that I have found and even heard slandering people here at the company and the company itself, because they failed in their jobs, and from all I saw, took no responsibility anything. Instead I know for a fact that some have posted here - and were let go by the company 5 or more years ago, and keep posting here. I know one is also working for a competitor in management. It's really sad that they can't move on and get their lives going.

Pros

I have been working for Adicio for over 13 years and I have never had more opportunity to grow as a person and as a professional anywhere in my 30+ year career. I did decide to leave Adicio a few years ago. I had been working there for 10 years and thought it was time for a change, time to grow and expand my own skills past what I thought I could get from my job at Adicio. It really didn't take long for me to realize that the opportunity I had at Adicio was still better than anywhere in the market because at Adicio my talent was recognized and appreciated. I am one of those people that loves to work and loves a challenge and Adicio thrives on people who want to make a difference and want to grow and adapt. Adicio has undergone some changes and transformations in the years that I have been here, and I know for certain it will continue to grow and adapt. If you love change, challenge and an opportunity to make a difference, this is the place for you to plant some roots and grow into a sequoia.

Cons

You have to love change and challenge at Adicio. You must take initiative and be a self starter, everyone here has high standards and expects a lot from their team.
