Stable job. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with occasional voluntary and mandatory overtime. Health benefits are alright. Health benefits cost about $80 per week for employee and children in terms of medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability.
Cons
Company advertised a Production Technicians making up to $16/hour, but many people have been there 10 to 20 years and barely make over $13/hour. Promotion above the Cell Leader position does not exist. If you want Production Supervisor or higher you have to apply off-the-street and have a college degree. Promotion of any type does not exist if an employee has any type of health issues/FMLA. Last but not least, according to company handbook, Adkev is a drug-free work place but drug tests are not conducted and many workers utlize lunch and breaks times to go to their cars and "refill". There are many others, but those are main ones.
