Too much freedom can be a good thing. I saw too many people doing whatever they wanted because there was no one there to stop them. It made the job harder on those who cared about working and actually wanted to do what was right. When you work in a store with only one or two other employees, you need to be able to rely on each other. There are too many situations where people get too comfortable and don't do their jobs.
