Pros

You get paid to just sit there most of the day

Cons

We were limited to 10 calls on an 8 -10 hr. shift if you didn't get a sale out of those few calls you were publicly rerimanded on the floor. Also you had to turn your phone into security or leave it in the hot car if you turned it in to security you could not have access to it until the end of your shift which means no calls home to check on the kiddos during break. Also they promote an unhealthy competition between the team leaders which in turn divide the team into little groups and it creates hostility within the work environment between the employees.

Pros

Decent pay. Decent benefits. Good PTO policy. Employee-owned company.

Cons

Training is woefully inadequate. Advancement is inconsistent, and it is extremely common for high-performing employees to be promoted and then subsequently demoted through no fault of their own, due to internal restructuring (loss of a contract, offshoring, outsourcing, ETC). This has a devastating impact on morale, and management does not seem to care.
