Pros

It's a job. You get paid during training.

Cons

Training barely covers the actual job itself. Breaks are 10 minutes, barely enough time to go to the bathroom and get a drink of water. Lunches are unpredictable, but usually 30-45 minutes. The difference between training and the actual job is incredible. They send you home early if there aren't enough calls so hours can be unpredictable.

Pros

Decent pay. Decent benefits. Good PTO policy. Employee-owned company.

Cons

Training is woefully inadequate. Advancement is inconsistent, and it is extremely common for high-performing employees to be promoted and then subsequently demoted through no fault of their own, due to internal restructuring (loss of a contract, offshoring, outsourcing, ETC). This has a devastating impact on morale, and management does not seem to care.
