Pros
Honestly, the pros were limited. The role offered me an opportunity to build resilience and sharpen my leadership skills in a fast-paced, often unpredictable environment. However, beyond that, there was a lack of meaningful support, recognition, and opportunity for growth, which ultimately influenced my decision to move on.
Cons
The major cons included a lack of upward mobility despite proven performance and tenure. Promotions often seemed based on favoritism rather than experience or merit, which created an unmotivating environment for long-term growth. Leadership was inconsistent in recognizing or developing internal talent, and transparency around advancement opportunities was limited. This led to frustration, especially after being overlooked multiple times for roles I was highly qualified for.
