      Pros

      Even though I am the sole medical personnel in my county jail, there is teamwork, support, and communication within the company. If I need anything I can call my regional or any department heads for help. The flexibility is amazing. I am able to have a family life plus an amazing job. This is the first company that I have worked for where I feel acknowledged and a part of the team. I can proudly say I love my job and look forward to work everyday. No where else as a nurse have I been able to use a wide variety of my skills and stay up to date with those skills.

      Cons

      1. The job is very demanding due to the growth of inmates coming in daily with medical issues and there are days that it is hard to get everything done before shift ends. 2. Officers need more training for when nursing staff is not in the facility and when new officers come in.
