Horrible Company - Anonymous employee Advanced Correctional Healthcare Employee Review

Working with ACH was the worse experience ever. They truly abuse their workers. While they acknowledge holidays, as a nurse, you can never take time off because they are spread so thin. If you try, it is frowned upon. I have text messages stating " sometimes we are required to work holidays and weekends". Sometimes is fine, but all the time is simply not right. This company separated me from my family. I worked countless hours and for what? Its a shame. Numerous hard working dedicated employee's have been fired within the last six months without cause. Do not believe them if they tell you otherwise. The high turnover rate speaks for itself. If you're considering working here, I suggest to look elsewhere. Employee's deserve better. Its a shame really. This use to be such a great company. HR will respond to this with the "great place to work " and recognition programs etc. The recognition program is obviously not retaining employee's. People with numerous recognition gift cards through out the years were let go. It carries no value. Also this company claims wrongfully that it is women own/run company. This is misleading. Just because someone (being male) owns only 49% of the business does not make the company women lead especially when that person still is highly involved in the company. The fact that this company makes this statement is just wrong.
