Pros
Smaller company, owner is on-site sometimes. People are friendly for the most part. Generally, it's an alright place to work, or it used to be at least...
Cons
People are turning against one another with all the recent firings and organizational changes. I've heard from multiple people that they were fired because management placed blame on them for inescapable problems. Management is quick to shift blame from them to their lower team members, and executives are absolutely clueless it seems. A year or two ago, this place was pretty alright and stable. Now though, even if I had a good sense of job security I wouldn't want to stay. Managers have turned mean, employees are job hunting while eating lunch, and it just seems like everyone is looking for the fastest way off a sinking ship. "Innovation" is quickly killing this company, along with the CEO/owner's impulsive actions. His approval ratings have gone from decent to almost near 0 in the last couple of years, in large part due to his "vision" of the company being so much grander than the reality he lives in. There was a marketing department, but due to poor management and the CEO getting fed up its no more. So there isn't actually anyone to properly market the products being created and/or sold here. Following this, there was a mass firing of sales reps... With the majority that remain being undertrained and woefully unsure of their future at the company... It's not a good outlook, and it has other departments scared. Many people are on the job market now and just waiting for the first opportunity to leave.
