Excellent benefits (8% contribution to 401k - Not a match). Healthcare is about average. PTO is average (If I recall correctly, it is 1 week at 6 months and then another week- total of 2 weeks up until you have 5 years with them. Then another week is added. Can carry over a maximum of 5 days).
Cons
Depending on position, there may not be a succession plan for growth. When I was hired I was told the CEO meets with each employee 1 on 1 at least once a year. I had one conversation with him that also included the VP of HR, who has since left the company to have her own firm. There was never too much concern with a work / home balance. This may have been specific to the position. Working late hours or weekends rarely resulted in time off through the week.
