Unable to think of anything positive other than I was able to make new friends. The staff on the branch level was great.
Cons
Did not support staff within the branch and the training is poorly executed. There really is no training they just provide you with all of the manuals and self tutorials and that is how you are expected to be successful and learn your role. This is so unprofessional. Senior managers are not very supportive and they are not trained on the branch and operational procedures. Too much micro-management. Expected to have meetings 2 and 3 times per day and then you are expected me meet ridiculous sales quotas. Tools and processes are extremely outdated also the turnover is very high. If you are looking to join an agency with the goal to advance, this is not the organization. They do not promote within and it seems that all of the operational, management level roles are filled with former Randstad employees. It is a 'good ole boy' type environment as it relates to the leadership. No minorities are in management level roles. It may be a few as BM''s and that is it. You will not find any people of color in roles beyond Branch Manager. I was only employed there for 11 months and I had to resign due to all of the inept behavior. Management is terrible and they really do not care about their employees. My sole employee resigned after 4 months because of the lack of support. Soon after my departure, they then closed this new branch that was opened less than a year. There was no support for the new market with no intentions for them to be successful. There was no investment in the markets at all. As we attempted to do sales calls, no one in the market knew who we were and the company expects two employees in a branches to be road warriors and do the outdated door to door selling. Management would not listen to understand that this method is so outdated. There was no plan as it relates to branding the market from the corporate level at all. It appeared that all of the branches were opened not as a long term investment, but a short term quota. No involvement with the CEO. During my tenure, we had maybe one conference call and you could not understand the CEO because of the language barrier. It is terrible because he can barely speak English.
