Pros

Incentives to work for this company was car allowence and a gas card for the travel between service calls.Work load was balanced enough that one could be satisfied with accomplished work.

Cons

After 3 years with company, they took away the gas card, took away the car allowance, and decided to pay mileage. But, now, after 6 years with this company, they have restructured the drive time they were paying, and altered the mileage payout, so that the employees will receive nearly $150 per month LESS than before. In the six years I have been with this company, they have regressed in employee allowances. I am losing money by continuing working for this company. I have not had a cost of living raise in 4 years. I decided full time was not worth the headache for the amount of pay received, due to the number of service calls doubled for the same rate of pay. I took a part time position, still with company, but with this new cutbacks, I may not continue employment for long.

Pros

There are pockets of talent and smarts on the creative side of the business, and I absolutely adored my immediate coworkers and my manager.

Cons

Senior leadership is an absolute mess. They will get us all together for these pep rallies, demand we “AMP IT UP”, then turn around and screw us mercilessly when it comes to raises, bonuses and job security. There is also quite a bit of platonic nepotism happening on the creative end of the business, with people who lend no real value to the work sitting at the very top of the creative pyramid solely because of their relationship to senior leaders. These people are being carried on the shoulders of their creative directors and ACDs, who are all criminally underpaid and under appreciated. With round after round of layoffs, no new wins, and leaders who demand high energy, long hours, and good attitudes at all times, I would strongly advise creatives to steer clear of this train wreck of an agency.
