Pros

I worked at Advantage right when the plandemic happened, met a good friend, it was a chill job for the most part. My manager was AMAZING though. Teri, you rock and don't you forget it! I would only recommend AS to the following types: 1. People with disabilities, needing extra income to support SSI 2. Older men and women who are bored or lonely, to get them interaction with others. 3. Needing a resume buffer between hunting for better opportunities. 4. Probably drug addicts to fund their habits.

Cons

Unfortunately, AS tried to force everyone to mask up and force vaxx or be fired. I believe they lost high thousands of employees over it, for good reason. They attempted to turn us into janitors and clean Walmart in every crevice. To which I promptly quit. California businesses can't tell Texan residents what to do with their health. PERIOD. Only the laws of the state the employee lives apply. Asking me a DEI question Glassdoor. DEI is useless scamming and racist. Should be 0 on that.

Pros

There are pockets of talent and smarts on the creative side of the business, and I absolutely adored my immediate coworkers and my manager.

Cons

Senior leadership is an absolute mess. They will get us all together for these pep rallies, demand we “AMP IT UP”, then turn around and screw us mercilessly when it comes to raises, bonuses and job security. There is also quite a bit of platonic nepotism happening on the creative end of the business, with people who lend no real value to the work sitting at the very top of the creative pyramid solely because of their relationship to senior leaders. These people are being carried on the shoulders of their creative directors and ACDs, who are all criminally underpaid and under appreciated. With round after round of layoffs, no new wins, and leaders who demand high energy, long hours, and good attitudes at all times, I would strongly advise creatives to steer clear of this train wreck of an agency.
